I was thinking about starting at Fry and Clay on the west side and then going through Bellville via 529 and then a couple of back roads into Brenham. Just did not feel like slabbing on 290. I was then planning a long way back taking in some nice roads. If that sounds good to others, I will map it out and post a time. If not, I am willing to meet with others and follow them.

If I can ride 500 miles in the cold rain going to Mama's Fried Pies, I can make this little run.
This Saturday is predicted to be a low of 19 and high of 36 degrees. :cool2: Is anybody up for a pratice run?

It is only about 75 miles long so a couple of hours should be plenty of time to get to Brenham. The meet up point is the Valario station on the southwest corner of Clay and Fry. I was planning on leaving about 10:00.

I will be going rain or shine. Velario at the corner of Fry and Clay with KSU at 10:00. If it is raining, I might change the route to a more direct one. We will see on Saturday morning.
North-siders, this route is not set in stone. We can go north a little more before we head West to Brenham. Just suggest something and maybe we can meet-up somewhere along the way.

Joey there are several of us that are meeting at the Valero on the SW corner of Fry and Clay (west side of town) w/KSU at 10am. I don't think anyone from the east side is gathering up, or if they are they are not saying anything on here.

Yup, put me down as an officially not going :banghead: they need me "available" for a network cut-over. I told them that i am just as "available" on my bike as i am elsewhere. as an official protest I will ride my bike to the office that day.

Take I-10 West all the way till you see the Highlands exit stay to the right .
There is a large Texaco station I can meet you there and any other stragglars that want to ride.

Its obviously running out of fuel for some reason. I know this is a silly question, but did you put gas in the tank, is the petcock on? :stickpoke:

Tore it down last night and didn't see anything that would be a problem, put it back together fired right up and rode it around for awhile no problem. :thumbup:

That sounds like a good ride, unless I am mistaken on where Buda is, (south east of Austin), I need to be home before that run would let me. I am however planning a little out of the way route home that will go through Round Top, Fayetteville, New Ulm, Sealy, Pattison and Brookshire. Anyone is more than welcome to join me.

I'm a bit confused. They told me that I was leading the pack back to s/w Houston. I took the scheduled right on FM 359 and nobody, I mean nobody followed me around the corner. Was I that :hurl: :cuss: as leader? :'(
