RD and I are going somewhere starting on Wednesday and coming back to SA on Thursday. Thinking of heading up north TX through the Hill Country. Chime in if you actually can make it.

Actually, I do not have a dog sitter so plans change! No overnighter just 2 solid days of riding, and making it back to San Antonio!!!!!!!!   Sorry RD.

I can't make it, but RD I've got a great overnight bag you could borrow ;)  I'm in West Virginia right now but will be home late Monday night.  I'll be more than happy to run it down to you anytime on Tuesday if you need it.  Hope your not tearing up the garage looking for it. ::)

Today I just stumbled across a road, US 60, between Chimney Corner and Gauley Bridge, that is every bit as challenging as the Dragon.  There were about 20 sport bikes and 10 or so cruisers making the run while I was there.  A real undiscovered gem. A little more local gage traffic than the Dragon but I bet in a couple of years it will be similar circus.  The sport bike guys were really carving it up, unfortunately I was in a rented cage so all I could do was watch.
