anyone going? New Metzelers going on in the morning, might have to see if I can squeeze a few last miles out of the current skins...  O0

I've been watching mine since LSR. I let them get low on air and started getting bad wear. Last weekend I finally pulled my book to see when I installed them. I have 16,000 on the front and 9,500 on the rear. I guess it's time for them to show some wear. Time flys, seems like I just put them on.

I feel honored!  ;)

The rear tire is worn pretty flat, and thin. The front tire probably has a few more miles on it, but I like having the same age skins front and back, and I have heard nothing but good stuff on folks switching from the Dunlops to the Metzelers. The ME 880s weren't available for the rear (spoked) 1300 until just a few months ago. Georgetown Honda is $15 below HDL, before shipping is calculated, and has a 1/2 price mounting sale, if you buy there, so I couldn't go wrong.

 O0 O0 O0 You can cut those miles in half if you park the X in front of the vett that way you won't have to move it to get the vett OUT!!!!! 8) 8) ::) ::) RIDE SAFE

Ouch!

Txgaboy/wife and son were there', last minute decision, one vtx, one goldwing, two shadows, rest whatever.... almost (horse shoes and hand grenades) won a new helmet....
