That is the after shot of my fairing and front fender. The fairing used to be black. I am painting it the same color as before but this time I am using a clear clear-coat instead of a matt.

I have also done my side covers. You can definitely see the difference when you look at the tank. I just have the tank, rear fender, and trunk left to do.

Be very careful while filling up fuel.  Those rustoleum paints and clear coats don't hold up well to gasoline. 

Only a 2K type clearcoat has chemical resistance.  Nasty stuff to inhale but is the absolute best clear coat you can get.  $20-25 a can.

Krylon Crystal Clear clear coat. I always try not to over file the tank. I love the pumps that you can get a real slow stream out of!!
