Backrests
« on: January 23, 2015, 09:03:41 AM »

I had a friend give me a backrest off of some kind of Honda. It was bigger than the one I had so I wanted to put it on the back for any passenger I had riding. The mounting holes in the side brackets had a different bolt hole pattern than the brackets that mount it to the bike but the holes on back of the pad were exactly the same so I was able to mount it on my bike.
I then took some flat stock and made a mounting bracket for the smaller pad so I could also have a backrest. All I need now is some decent weather so I can try it out.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.
