X vs Vulcan...went for a ride this afternoon. Buddy had a 06 Vulcan, my 1300R... His has 2k miles, mine 7300.  Gotta say... VTX is tighter..sounds and handles much better!  I like my ride!

The X is a great bike for the money. It was hard to let mine go. But since I got the wing it would have been a waste to let it sit. My SIL has it now and loves it. You made a good choice, the 1800 would have been a better one. :stickpoke:

Just playing with ya. The 1300-1800 riders always trade friendly jabs. You did good.

Friendly jabs or not, we all know the truth - 1800 is the best!

I think it all comes down to how well you take care of the bike. I'm pretty happy with my 1800c, it rides better than my buddy's Harley

Rode 2 up with the wife yesterday to see how she liked it.  She is hooked!  Perfect day to ride yesterday!  Did some back road riding and got it up on 114 and 35 at highway speed and she didn't flinch.  Love that girl...and the bike.

I had thought the same thing green on a bike is bad ju-ju. Seems that this came from WW2 and there being a lack of OD (Olive Drab) paint for bikes as all OD was tasked for vehicles (Tanks, Jeeps etc). Also a competitors main color is green......KawaSUCKY  All joking aside, I'm as superstitious (no matter if it can be traced to fact) as the next and stay away form green bikes as well.
