Hey, I was good until they said you HAVE to spend 24 hours in Sturgis during the rally. I can barely make 2 hours in Galveston before I'm full of idiots.

Why would someone want to do all that, other than for the reason that they could then tell everyone they did it? I was 75 miles short of the Ironbutt when I rode back from the Coloradical this summer, with about 7.5 hours to spare, and people actually asked why I didn't keep riding. WTF? I was already home, which was where I was riding to!!
I was in Homer, AK fishing when they started arriving at the finish line this summer.... My hat is certainly off to those guys! They were definitely weathered and exhausted. I can honestly say that I have zero desire to try that for myself after discussing it with them over a few beers at the Salty Dawg Saloon.
Damn, I guess I waisted 15 yrs of my life working/training almost every day to exhaustion for what, 3yrs in the Pros, crap, silly childish games..go figure, I must be a dumb@$$! What was I thinking? I will never do that again!!! Let me go lay down, I am tired from typing.
