Early ride to rally
« on: December 10, 2008, 12:45:17 AM »

Well I have been invited to the rally by a bud and the thing is we are leaving early in the morning 7:30 AM
Willowbrook area

We’ll meet at the Shell station on Perry and 1960 at 7:30am.  We’ll have people waiting on us along hwy 6 so we have to leave at 7:45 SHARP. Return around 3:00pm if you want to group ride

There is a group going on the hwy 6 route.
Multiple kind of bikes, I have gone this way for 2 years now and it was a nice ride

Let me know if interested. I should be there around 7:30 you can't miss my bike...

Where you been?  So you still have the X, or are you riding something else now?

Hey Skippy, I have a few guys that are riding starting in the katy area and more than likely are the taking the hwy 6 route as well.  Where do you plan on stopping on hwy 6, or do you plan on stopping on hwy 6 just south of I-10.  My group is leaving the the i-10 & barker cypress intersection @ 8:00 a.m. sharp towards hwy 6.

I am not coordinating the ride, just riding along
we have stopped at various places along highway 6 last couple of years
If you guys want to drop in tell me where and @ what time and I will pass the info to my friend who knows the guy
leading the pack.
If you say you will be there around 8 AM @ I-10 and highway 6 I think we may be getting there about the same time?
Let me know and I will pass the info on

Still have the X and it is still orange!!

That's easy enough.  We'll be there at 7:30.  Found the address...

I got home around 5:30 without running into any rain.  The wind kicked my butt yesterday, though.  I fell asleep on the couch around 7 and then got in bed around 9.  Woke up at 8:30 this morning...I was tired.  :)

Larry, sorry again about your mom.  I'm praying for your family.
