Did you get Connie's info? She was the one Ken called you about. Her online name is Lucky but she has not been able to log on yet. I will PM you with her e-mail. Warren

p.s.  There were only 4 that showed up at Freebirds last night.

If this #*@% weather would clear up I could take some pics of the bike...maybe even RIDE the bike  >:(.  Actually I am going to take her into the shop tomorrow cause I noticed when I did ride her a little that she has a vibration that I don't think is right.  Figured that since I can't ride due to the weather, she might as well be at the shop instead of just sitting down stairs waiting for me. Does anyone have a Honda shop in the south or southeast side of town that seems to be reliable?

Welcome to our X World!!!

Some people like Pasadena Honda, but others will chime in, I'm sure.  As for the wobble, here are some things to keep in mind on the 1300.  Any one of these or a combination could be the culprit.

1.  Unbalanced wheels/tires
2.  Steering stem bearing preload and/or bearings
3.  Rear shock bushings
4.  Uneven wear on the front tire
5.  Tire pressure

I would check yourself or have them check the easy ones (#3-5).  If it's still not fixed, I would lean towards #1 if the bike has 8-10K miles on the current set of tires.  If that's not the case, then it may be #2.

How many miles do you have on the bike?  Did you buy it used or new?  When do you experience the wobbling/vibration...acceleration...deceleration...normal cruising...what speeds?

The bike is brand new...237 miles on it before this morning when I rode to work - YIPPPEEE.  I dropped by Pasadena Honda on Saturday and talked to them about it.  They said that the 1300 runs rough and that there is nothing they can do about it.  Does anyone else have a problem with their 1300 running rough enough that you don't have a clear solid reflection in your side view mirrors?
