veterans day parade
« on: November 08, 2007, 10:21:12 PM »

the PGR is riding in the austin veterans day parade again this year. i did this last year and had alot of fun. the parade is about 10 blocks long through downtown austin. afterwards there is a large ceremony to honor the veterans. for anyone interested, the meet up area is on the congress street bidge at 7:30-8am. parade starts at 9am. the easiest way to get there is take the riverside drive exit off I-35 and go west on riverside until it runs into congress. you'll go north on congress maybe 2 blocks and your there. see ya and ride safe.

I had already committed to be somewhere else, tried to change it, but couldn't. For some reason it falls through, I'll be there, otherwise can't make it. :(
