East Texas Day ride
« on: May 30, 2006, 11:18:15 PM »

I hoping to be able to take a ride on Friday and am looking for a good ride in East Texas. I'll be leaving from the Palestine area. anyone have an suggestions.
I recently received the Ride Texas Ride guide but it seems they haven't found much in the east Texas area, or just haven't got it covered yet.

Make sure you ride 87 south of Hemphill.  Good sweepers and hills.  Pretty through there.

Take a look at this site.

I 2nd this, the ride between Burkeville and Hemphill is great...livin not far from here, we do this all the time, let us know when yall are goin to do it, if I'm off, I'll go...theres a farm road, Fm 1414, between Newton and Burkville, that is really twisty and hilly...Maw Maw showed it to us...
