Kenny and Arnold and their better 1/2's made it out of Temple at 5:30 headed to R. Star where I am and will join for the rest of the ride to Colorado.  There is rain in this area but looks like the sooner we can head west the better we'll be at least for a while. 

Wayne, thanks for the offers, wish you and Kathy were here to enjoy.  See yall when we get back.  O0

thanks guys, the weather up here in the mountains is awesome!!!!, i rode up to brekenridge this morning and it was in the 60's had to stop and put my jacket on, was up about 12,000 feet, there is just too much beautiful things to look at up here, my wife has just about wore out the camera. jeff, these roads are just made for a fjr, lots of fun, will start back home on thursday and work my way back down through the mountains from here to new mexico, will holler at ya'll when i get back, will have hundreds of pictures to sift through. O0

Wow is all I can say.  What a ride and what a trip.  We rode up over 14k feet; BTW this is the ride that I said I wouldn't do.  Incredidable is all I can say.  Big thanks to Big A and Joe (asmedic (sp?).  Thanks for leading us on some awesome rides.  I'm so sad about Jim's ride and hope he gets to feeling well.  I'll be sharing some pics as soon as I get my new cable.   And, BTW I won BEST CUSTOM PAINT Troupy  :D

We are in Amarillo and can't wait for Palo Duro tomorrow.  I'm really hoping for rain to be gone by the time we get home. 

Oh, and I almost forgot.  we had a blow out 35+ miles north of Clayton NM.  David limped the RV along another 90 miles before we found a replacement tire.  Thanks god for GPS.  It's all good and we are here finally.

 I saw a few Texas members cruising down by the Laquinta this week. I'm glad to meet you, had a great time with all of the Texas gang. Hope to see you soon.

I just got home last nite, left on June 29th and back on July 17th. I rode all but two days.. One was in Boise Id. and one was at Tom's vacation house in Cloudcroft N.M. (where I was very ILL :P :P) Thanks to Tom and his family for taking care of me!! O0 O0 Total miliage was 5,930. The Road to the Sun Hiway was the best ride of my life!!!! O0 O0 O0 My wife hung in until Boise where she oppted out for a ride home with friends in a car... That was the 4,000 mile mark... 8) 8)  We had a GREAT TIME!! O0 O0 O0 ;D ;D ;D  For the days ridden the avg. was 350 miles per day.... Not bad for an old man and wife!!! O0 O0 O0
