vtx 1800 --shift lever is stuck--must be some simple solution to correct--pls advise if you can help

Is this a heel/toe shifter?
If so one of two things:
1. You need to remove and lube up the pivot point. I used bearing grease
2. If it's not shifting then you need to drain the fluid and run new fluid in the master cylinder for the clutch.
