For me, it's also scheduling issues. I work for my school district and just can't take off when this event is scheduled in April. I get a week off in March for Spring Break every year, which is March 12-16, 2018 for this upcoming school year.

I can forsee no reason why not to be there. This past year, as most people know, I was sick as a dog but I still showed. Yes I did play Porch Monkey most of the time but I was there and will be again!   :c :c :c :bikerider: :c :c

Porch Monkey is a very important position in the group. Right up there with being the Prez! ;D

Yep yep!!!

I know it is really early, if we can set our dates, and get our flyer setup and get it spread early it would give folks more time for planing.  :idontknow:
I plan on doing some movin and groovin come fall, spread flyers everywhere I go :bikerider:

Maybe if we have it earlier, folks might want to come because they haven't been riding much over the winter and have a little cabin fever? Itching to ride. Another issue is late April is getting close to graduation. Some folks get tied up with that.

If you are asking for suggestions...April 19-22nd is my vote for this year...but not every date will work for everyone.  Bluebonnets were pretty scarce this year..but I did think the weather has been relatively good overall the past few years.

As long as I know a few weeks in advance I am good any weekend.  I think Thunder in the Hills is the first weekend in April so as long as we are not there at the same time I am up for early/mid April.  It would be nice for my 4th Rally to actually see Bluebonnets.

Since the early days of BBT, rain has been an issue in the earlier part of April so the BOD has, for the most part, focused on dates later in April or early in May. Rain has a way of deterring many from riding. Especially when camping.

For me it's a new business. I'm getting to the point of being able to pick and choose when I can take time off but I'm not certain yet. If all goes according to plan I'll make it this year. I'd hate to miss the 15th anniversary.  :c :bikerider: :lunch: :c :bikerider: :lunch:
