I still enjoy them.  I just wish I can stay a few days instead of riding in/out on the same day.  Maybe sometime soon.  Been going for about 10 years now.  I haven't missed one yet.

If you get rooms for free you are doing great.  Normally $100/night hotels turn into $400/night for the rally.

I actually got two rooms. One for me and one for a friend of mine. It is about 15 miles out of town. Close enough for me.

You'll enjoy the ride.  I love gliding over the causeway everytime I go.  I think that's why I mainly go just to ride over it.  After all my first rally I ever attended was Lone Star Rally and I haven't missed one in the last 11 years.

Update guys. I am not going to be able to attend the Lonestar Rally this year and the people I was going with can't either. Consequently I have two rooms. One with two double beds and one with a king bed. Check in on the 1st and check out on the 5th. All I ask is you pay me back for the taxes. I get the rooms for free but have to pay taxes and such. It will be $150.00 for both rooms. $150.00 total. If I have no takers by Monday I will go ahead and cancel them. Pm me or send me an email.
