Any one want to head to Palo Pinto/points west in Lake country Saturday Morning???  Would meet at the R&K Cafe (FW Hyw/180 in Hudson Oaks (Far east Weatherford) for Breakfast around 9:00 Saturday and head out for a ~3 hr jaunt afterward.

Any other weekend we'd definitely be up for it, but Mama and I are heading out to Big Bend for a long weekend
Friday. We DO need to get a  regular group going in Fort Worth.

FatDaddy, I'd like to meet you at White Elephant Thurs. Probably can get there around 6 or 6:30. The wife has sorority meeting at our house and will give me a good excuse to get out of there. I ride a black 1300S and will have on a black plain vest over a black T with a black and red Ford cap. Let me know what to look for.

Where exactly is the "White Elephant"? Is it a restaurant or bar?  Biker friendly?

be ridin the black 1800 with the horsey on the tank, wearing blue long sleeves,and normally sitting on the stools on the roadfront. elephant is in the stockyards on exchange street before you get to the rodeo ring. very people friendly. the reason i like to go so early is no-one is normally there till 7

I definitely agree with that...let's get a regular Fort Worth group together and ride out west from Fort Worth. Unfortunately I have to go to Austin this weekend to help my daughter renovate her house. I know the roads out around Possum Kingdom area, be glad to share info.

Ride is still on for Saturday, I will be at the R&K at 9:00 AM, plan to ride west to Santos, up to Palo Pinto, then around Possum Kingdom lake.  Should be back after lunch....

Hey folks, had a great ride on Saturday.... Headed west on I-20, then 180, south on 4 from Palo Pinto (which is like downhill skiing on a cruser!!!, best turn and burn road I have found so far, Hyw 4 from Palo Pinto to Santos....  Perfect weather,  Fatdaddy and I went the southern route through Lipan and over to Grandbury, back up to Weatherford on 51... (nice 80 per sweepers on 51 in this section...)... great ride!!!!
