Thanks guys,been working on the bike most of the night.  I installed the light bar this week end and I am having a little trouble getting them adjusted. Seem to be blinding cagers that I meet and going down the highway I light up the exit signs for about a 3/4 miles down the rode.  And when I am in the city I reflect off the exit signs for 3 to 4 exits.

Can't make it Saturday, but will keep eyes on the ride board.

Happy b-day, Danny....those lights are for your "advanced" vision, eh???

Cheers,

The way they are aimed right now in could pick off a deer sleeping in a tree 500 ft away.  But for us old folks we need all the lighting we can get for better vision anytime.  One good thing about turning 60, I went out to Randolph and got my blue ID,which means look out HDL on the first of each month.

When you retire from the reserves you get a red ID card which is good to use for anything on any base,but when you reach  the age of 60 you get the blue ID with all the priveleges plus you start receiving your retirement pay.

Okay, it looks like RD and SmoothX will be at the IHOP in 1604/281 around 8:30 on Saturday, so I plan on leaving Austin around 7 - 7:30am. If there is more than me, we can meet at the usual WalMart. Let me know....

Brock, could you move this to the Central Texas board?

Hooter had someone recommend this place: http://www.sundayhouseinn.com/crankyfrank1.htm

We've never really eaten any BBQ in Fredricksburg, always gone to Copper's (saying that name with reverent awe.) Based on that, I thought it may be time to step out, and try someplace new.

Ride Time table:
* Meet up @ IHOP-San Antonio, 281/1604 @ 8:30am
* Leave IHOP @ 9:30am and head to Fredricksburg via 281 to Blanco, 1888 to 1376 through Luckenbach, and into Fredricksburg.
* There's a large Chevron station on the north side of 290 going into town. I think it's next to a Pizza Hut, or Sonic, can't remember. We'll be there around 10:30am.
* Planning to eat lunch around 1pm, we'll take a general census where everyone wants to ride, and get us back to town at that time.
* Eat lunch, 1pm @ Cranky Franks
* Decide after lunch, who wants to go where.
