Sounds great, What do you say ride to Fredricksburg for lunch and back through the hill country? Saturday, because of Football on sunday.  KSU at 8 am in San Antonio..... Now we just have to figure out where to eat. I have never been to Fredricksburg........

I was in Luckenbach a couple of weeks ago and the bartender there told me of a place called Cranky Frank's BBQ in Fredericksburg. Said it was the best around anywhere. It was on the main road (can't remember the hiway #) coming into town from the south and on the left hand side of the street. Found the site for ya, hope this helps.

Fredricksburg sounds good. It's been awhile since I've been through there myself. Suzanne wants to do some shopping. Is Lori's schedule open? Maybe she could come along too.

Can't make it this weekend,have family coming in from Houston to celebrate my birthday for a second time. When you turn "60" it really doesn't matter when you have it even if it has to be done again just to remind you.

I would join y'all but I am riding the bike to a church retreat north of Leakey (Laity Lodge) on Fridayand staying til Sunday.  The weather is nice so I will get out and ride the three twisted sisters during the "quiet reflection time". 

Jesus would have ridden a VTX 1800 Retro.  No doubt in my mind.

The bumper sticker on my bike reads,  "I'm Riding My Psychiatrist."

Sorry you can't make it Dan. Jeff and I are going to ride. Suzanne and Lori are taking the car, so they can do some shopping. Jeff and I were planning on having breakfast in SA, around 8:30-9, then ride up to Fredricksburg. We can turn the Ladies loose on Main St., go for a short ride, then meet back in town for lunch, then go for another ride. Jeff M, bring your bride along. We could just meet up in Fredricksburg.

Yep!! We've been there and back 3x's already. It was 43* Sunday morning.
