Statewide Meet & Greet

All groups are to meet in Cedar Park, TX in the Wal-Mart parking lot @ 8 a.m.

We are going to ride FM 1431 from Cedar Park to Marble Falls and have breakfast at the Bluebonnet Café (211 US-281 Marble Falls, TX 78654).  The estimated time is about 35-45 minutes and a distance of about 38 miles.  It's a short ride but a fun one.  This road does require some skill level so if you don't feel confident please take your time and ride at your own pace.  No one will be left behind.......BUT......if you are left behind (don't get your panties in a bunch) no turn will be made until the whole group is together to avoid anyone getting lost.  With that said, prepare yourself and get on Google maps and familiarize yourself with the area. 

Rides after breakfast are on your own.  Please make your own ride plans if you wish to visit other places or continue riding the area.

Roughly from Buc-ee's to Cedar Park is about 2 1/2 hrs.  We are most likely going to make a couple of stops (or one) so ideally KSU (kick stands up) need to be around 4:15 a.m.

It is early, so........I don't care what time you want to be @ Buc-ee's but be ready to leave at 4:15 a.m..  I'm including myself in this one.  Even if I don't make it you guys need to leave at 4:15 a.m. to make good time.  I will catch up.  I don't think I'll run late but just in case.  

If indeed someone doesn't make the 4:15 take off we will for sure stop @ the Buc-ee's in Giddings TX right off of Hwy 290.  That is about an hour ride.

Any stop between Giddings and Cedar Park will be random so if you don't make the 2nd meet-up then we will see you at Wal-Mart at Cedar Park or in Marble Falls.

OK Steve, it is about an hours ride from Copperas Cove to Cedar Park so I would suggest we meet up at our new HEB parking lot around 6:30-6:45. I don't know how long it would take you to get here but I would guess about 2 hrs or so. Does that sound doable??

according to Maps...its 2 hrs and 58 minutes to Copperas Cove ....not sure Libby would want to ride at 3:30 in the morning.

I'm not sure I wan't to ride at 3:30 in the morning.  Normally I am just getting to bed by then...LOL.

Ruthy either but she has done it once already and I convinced her that it will be nice and cool and there is nothing better than watching the sun come up in the morning while riding.

You're gonna have to leave somewhere close to that time in order to get to Cedar Park by 8.

Google Maps shows 3 hrs 21 min from Trophy Club to Cedar Park.  Which means you would need to leave somewhere around 4-4:30 to give yourself time for traffic, getting gas, etc.

If you are coming down IH35, you would just hang a right onto US Hwy 190 in Belton and come west for about 30 minutes. We would then travel to Cedar Park via FM 2657 to State Hwy 183. 2657 is a fun road to ride also. Check it out!!
