Sounds like we have a good group that's interested....don't think Libby will make that trip..but I'm in.

I am heading out march 25-28, staying 3 nights in Alpine.  Anyone welcome to join us.

Went there last April with some of the crew...what an unbelievable trip!  It was definitely too short...need a solid 7+ days to take it all in.  We did it in 4 days total, and two of those days were travel days to/from.

Too many pics to copy and paste here, so here's my link from the "big boy" board.   ;D

Yeah, I talked to Ruthy and depending on our situation when this trip comes to fruition, she may or may not go but looks like I'm down.

The one time that I had a chance to go something like that happened too.  But I know I'll get to go sometime.

My riding buddy took his wife with him instead. He said that the "River road" was the best ride he's been on to date!!

Bryce, I don't know how locked in you are on the date you're going, but there is going to be a full moon on March 23. That's absolutely the worst time for star gazing.  The bright moon light will wash out any view of the Milky Way. If you could put off your trip for two weeks, that'll put you there during a new moon, which would be absolutely the best time seen view the night sky.  Whatever your decision is, enjoy your trip.
