Although the weekend of the 11th and 12th is out for us, how about something on the west side of Austin? Say around the 620/2222 intersection? It's about an hour and fifteen for us to that point.

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

That wouldn't be a problem for me just wondering what is out around that area that we could meet at? It would be about 1-1 1/2 hours for me depending on traffic.
My next available Saturday would be on 7/25. We could meet for lunch & maybe do a short ride. Just throwing this out there!! Let's here some ideas!!!!!!

I might be down in your neck of the woods this Saturday. Myself & a couple of friends are talking about coming down & riding the Devil's Backbone. Haven't finalized anything yet.

OK, do we want to do this on the 25th? If so, I need a meeting place & time cause I'm not familiar with what's around that area.

Sounds great Steve. If you can make it, why don't you swing by here & we can ride down together? I may have a friend or 2 on Harleys joining us.

So everyone is good about meeting for lunch say 12:30ish?

So, these are the eateries I found around the 620/ 2222 intersection:

Boat House Grill, Thunder Cloud Subs, Smokey J's BBQ, Papa Murphy's Pizza, Taco Cabana, McDonald's, & Rudy's BBQ

Look 'em over & let's make this happen!!

Actually...I saw a segment on PBS this weekend on BBQ in Lockhart...used to eat at Blacks BBQ and Kreutz all the time when I lived down there.
Was thinking of stopping by on my road trip to the Gulf Coast.  When the time gets near...I may throw that out for the Austin Group..and meet ya'll there.

I put my vote in for either Boat House Grill or Thundercloud Subs.  Boat House looks like it has a wide variety of foods to choose from.

How early can you meet for lunch BobWd?  My recommendation since it is so freaking HOT out there is that we meet as early as possible for everyone.

Xcaliber, what are your plans?
