I'm going down Friday and have a motel room to share that night. However, I may be returning home for the night (to save some bucks) and then ride back down Saturday morning. If I choose the later option, I'd be interested in joining you for the ride back down on Saturday. PM me with your phone number.

Looking for a place to stay didn't work out so...I am probably riding up Saturday morning.  I will probably be going 146 though.

A coworker of mine and I are leaving Huntsville around 6am and heading South on 45 all the way in to Galveston.

Outlaw Ranch Ride looks fun.  Only problem is they are leaving at 11:00am but an escorted ride down I-45 would be pretty cool.

Did it one year, it was ok but took forever to get there due to the enormous amout of bikes. if you want an escourted ride, think about the toy run to Boys and Girls country put on by the San Jacinto Highrollers. Not a long run but well run and for a great cause and the kids are waiting for you with cookies when you get there! The only toy run I do because I can see the kid get the gift if I want to stay and watch Santa give it to them.

I was thinking specifically for Lone Star.

I'll be staying away from any staged rides because they usually draw way too many bikes and not enough riders, if you get my drift.

I haven't quite decided if I'm going to go I10 to I45 South or take HWY 6.  Early in my years I remember the X riders had a good size group meet up on I-10 & Hwy 6 and then meet again on Hwy 6 and 288 to pick up any other and once we got into Galveston, everyone just went on there merry way.
