Now I understand how it works....................
« on: October 15, 2014, 11:07:17 PM »

I love this about the Affordable Health Care Act..............

"We need to pass it so we can know what is in it". We know who said that, maybe not in those exact words.

It was broke down in simple laymen terms. I snagged this so not my words but now I am not so confused.

Condensing the 10,535 pages of Affordable Health Care Act to 4 sentences...

1. In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to un-insure the insured.

2. Next, we require the newly uninsured to be re-insured.

3. To re-insure the newly un-insured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured.

4. The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became un-insured, and then became re-insured, can pay enough extra so that the
original uninsured can be insured, which will be free of charge to them.

 Oh by the way.......I am one of those people that got cancelled because my medical insurance didn't meet the AHCA minimum requirement. So when I went shopping for medical insurance it goes from $160.00 a month with $2500.00 deductible to $489.00 a month with $6000.00 deductible. Don't you just love how we are a loving giving country and give to all but the legal citizens of America.

We will be feeling the impact of this act in January when our policy renews.  I am not looking forward to the increase in my monthly payment.  Until now I have been one of the lucky ones who's rates have not changed but that was just due to my company absorbing the costs.  They are not doing that for 2015.   :violin:

We will see the real impact of this wreck after the November elections when a lot of it goes into effect.
Is it no surprise of the timing?
That will give them two years for Americans to forget what the politicians did to them before we get to vote again.
Politicians know Americans have a short memory ..............so they plan the enactments dates accordingly.

And plan how it won't effect them and make them more money. Good to hear from you Mike

I went to the ER with The Obama Virus and a pocket of America  Cash a lot of Cash more than I would need to pay the bill. They would not treat me because I was not covered under Obama Care. So I just went out and spread the Obama Virus every where I went.  :stickpoke:

While Marigold and I were down in Florida last month I had a 73 year old retiree from New Jersey join me fishing one afternoon. He just went on and on about how the AHCA was the best thing that had ever happened to America, and that it has lowered healthcare costs in the US by 20%.  He told me that the stories of all those people whose policies got cancelled, and whose premiums for a "qualifying" plan were three and four times higher than what they had been paying, were just politically motivated lies and that there were no substantiated cases of that happening.  Told me he had researched it, and proved it was so.  He said that the very few people whose insurance was actually cancelled had gotten better plans for much less money under AHCA.  And he looked me in the eye the whole time............

Jim I know in your profession from time to time you will administer an alochol breath test and they blow into the tube and gives a reading.  It's to bad you didn't have one of these to let him talk into while he was telling his story just to show his level.....

Well, I got my insurance papers for 2015 and although it did go up a little I am switching to the PPO and my insurance just went down about $70/mo.  Guess Obamacare isn't screweing up my plan much.  Lucky me!  :thumbup: My company is still absorbing much of the additional cost I suppose.

Something to consider...............

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the
University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always
Temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent
Form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until
The time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous
Gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority
Always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from
The public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
Collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a
Dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the
Beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200
Years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
>From spiritual faith to great courage;
>From courage to liberty;
>From liberty to abundance;
>From abundance to complacency;
>From complacency to apathy;
>From apathy to dependence;
>From dependence back into bondage."
The Obituary follows:

Born 1776, Died 2016
It doesn't hurt to read this several times.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in
St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning
The last Presidential election:

Number of States won by:         Obama: 19               Romney: 29
Square miles of land won by:    Obama: 580,000      Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million  Romney: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Obama: 13.2             Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory
Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low
Income tenements and living off various forms of government
Welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of
Democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population
Already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase..

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
Criminal invaders called illegal’s - and they vote - then we can say
Goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
 If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how
Much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our
Freedom..WWER
