Hey Drew, Good equipment, Lots of reading, Plenty of practice, and when you make a good shot, try and repeate it over and over.

I purchased a new Mathews Chill this year after shooting PSE and Bear for years, Love my Mathews, silent and deadly.
 :couch:

Dang nice set up!  I have heard good things about the Mathews Chill.  I think I finally got my anchor point set and I am comfortable with it.  I have not had an arm slap since day 1 and my groups have gotten smaller.  I try to take 5 to 10 shots a day for practice, mostly from 10 to 15 yards.  I cant wait till next year when I get to go hunting.

From 15 yards

From 10 Yards

Nice Grouping, some of mine, from 20 yards:

Didn't the HOA get onto you about hunting the neighborhood deer? Oh, wait, bow hunting doesn't make as much noise. Good show.

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

Make sure before hunting season you start practicing with the same broadheads you plan to use while hunting.  The broadheads will make a difference in your arrows flight so you need to learn how they will react with them.

  I still dont know what broadheads I want to use yet.  I am thinking about the G5 Montecs.  But I am also thinking about the NAP "Big Nasty".  :idontknow:

Been so long since I shot my old Bear that I am not sure what broadheads I was using.  But whatever you decide on, be sure to practice with them, course then you have an excuse to get a #D target or some sort of big block.  If you try shooting at your present target with the broadheads, your arrows will most likely go all the way through  ;D

I don't know if it is in the book mentioned earlier, but you might want to paper tune your bow. It lines everything up so your arrows fly true.
