I'm planning on being there...I need a nice, long leisurely ride through the woods to Maw Maw's house!   ;D  Probably get up really early and take the long way around.

Didn't Little Red Riding Hood start out something like this?  :ohwow: Best thing for you and Taz to do is let Gumbo lead and that way the Wolf can't eat y'all cause he won't know where you are either.  :c :c

:agree: with you Hooter and like the way you think!  :c

careful Hooter, your startin' to sound like Swampy :t

Okay, I've come up with a tentative route, which will take us through two national forests and around/over Lake Livingston.  It is about a 200-mile/4 hour ride (plus time for gas/rest stops), so we can figure out meet up times in Conroe and go from there.  How early would y'all like to get on the road?

Tell me what you think of this route...shouldn't be any hidden surprises like dirt roads, sheep/donkeys/cows appearing out of nowhere, etc.   :couch:

With the way you started the route how about everyone meet at my house. Airport road is like a half a mile away.

You pick a time and let me know.
As long as there is no rain in the forecast I'm good.  ;-)

Looks like I can make this ride 8-31.  Did a Maw Maw's Google search to no avail.  Address?  Map link?

Found it, mapped it, called a passenger, see you all at 11 on the 31st.

Strandedtexan do you have a route mapped yet? Can you give me a call so we can set up a starting point? Maybe we can hook up with Chad and his band of Merry Men?

Just got back in town. Were getting together next Sat? Thought it was Sept due to Labor Day weekend

What time are you planning on starting out? Will it be backroads from your location? Maybe we can meet up with you folks and ride down together? Strandedtexan, Chad is in Miller Grove.
