On the calendar and hoping for good weather.

David
Sounds as if your shoulder is doing fine.  Glad to hear it and that you're back on the bike again.

Thanks.  Yes it is doing real good.  Still working on some range of motion issues but riding is not a problem.

Whats Up?

Not sure of my plans yet for Saturday, but may try to meet up with you in San Marcos.  Is there some sort of gathering point that you may stop at when you cross I-35?  What time do you expect to be in San Marcos?

not going to be able to make it this Saturday.   I got to go help a friend of mine get the bunk house at the lease ready for a big gathering in 2 weeks....  :banghead:

this is a friend who's idea of a relaxing weekend is clearing land, and digging ponds.... so a nice relaxing weekend at the ranch really means a backbreaking marathon in the texas heat.

Ok, here is the plan. KSU at 7:00 at Raceway. Gumbo leads us to Loves!  :ohwow: We meet up with everyone that wants to meet us at Loves and we all fuel up. KSU at 8:00 and next stop will be Smithville. This will be approximately 90 miles. Leave Smithville approximately 9:45 - 10:00 and head to San Marcos. Can meet GHOSTRACER at the Wendy's on the west side of I-35 at approximately 11:15 - 11:30. The last leg from Smithville to Chunky's is about 130 miles so I figure we can make it most of the way on a tank. I will have an alternate route for the way home or if people are getting restless we can head straight back. We can make a group decision at that point. Kandie has off that day and will be coming along as well. Now anyone for a hot Cranberries burger?

Weather a factor? what zip code will the afternoon route put us? May can route around bad weather.  :banghead:

The speed of the storm big factor I will use the power of the Swamp Angel To keep us safe but God will be in charge of the weather.

                                                          50% Chance of THUNDER STORMS
                                                       oh there's a small thing {(.)(.)}   ???
I figure we can make it most of the way on a tank

so we push the rest of the way or should we bring sides tanks?

Sounds like a plan, weather permitting.  Just looked at the forecast and calling for a 60% chance of T-Storms.  I don't mind getting wet, just hate the hours of clean-up on the bike.

Yes we are not going to do this if the weather is bad. Will wait till Friday to decide if we need to push to the following weekend. I just pulled it up on weather.com and it shows a 70% chance with a potential for heavy rainfall for Saturday.  :banghead:
