How could we NOT check this place out.
GUMBO, insert comments here...............
Nomercy...have you been to the place?  I looked it up on line and they don't include their prices (which makes me wonder), plus they said reservations recommended.  Plus their webpage is not as down to earth looking as the flyer you posted...more high scale looking...cloth napkins/tablecloths, wine glasses...they list wine and sparkling water on their menu, but no beer.  Concerned that they might be a little more upper class then this group is used to, lol.

Thanks for giving it a try.
Aside from the good food and beer , that is thier buffet night so we eat all we want for the price and try a bunch of different food.  They have an Umpa band that night too!

Noah's Ark bar and grill in bacliff. Good food. Plenty of bike parking. And a great view of the bay.

This place has great BBQ.
Is it too far north for a north-side M&G?
(it is on the far south end of the lake)

In my opinion it is too far north for a week night M&G....sounds like a great place for a ride on a Sat or Sun lunch.

Mike, I am concerned that this location is too far south to draw enough riders to attend.  Anybody else have an opinion?

Bone Daddy's
« Reply #25 on: April 01, 2013, 09:55:35 AM »

I'd like to nominate a new place on the south side of town called Bone Daddy's.  It's new, only been open a couple of months.  It's a BBQ style restaurant with a service them similar to Twin Peaks.  I ate there this weekend for the first time and the food is awesome.  They also have dedicated motorcycle parking on the north side of the building.  It's right on the east side of I45 just north of NASA Road 1 and south of Bay Area Blvd.  They also play great classic rock and blues music inside.

Years ago, I always made it to the one in Dallas and Austin when I would visit some friends.  If the one down here is of the same caliber, it's a good place.
