Thanks for the pictures Jeff.  I really liked the goat and kid.  Can you photoshop a beer in between them?

That picture of Bobby's Wang N Thang he's pulling is really BIG.  He needed a police escort.  There are 18 wheelers that aren't that big.  Is that a sink on the top of that trailer??  Probably illegal invaders inside huh. :stickpoke:

Thanks for keeping us updated guys. :good:

Bobby's trailer is very nice, and I'm not saying that just because he carted my MotoFizz bag all the way up there inside it! During the games on Sunday, I told him he should see if they would set up a slalom course for bikes/trikes with trailers attached! I think there were at least 4 trailers there. There were also 4 white Wings, which was quite the sight!

OK, I am back...in Red Lodge we stayed at the "Yodeler Inn", nice little place with a steam bath in each shower, it felt great on the sore cranberries; we ate in town 4 blocks away at the "Bridge Creek Cafe", upscale for Red Lodge but not too expensive (loved the Huckleberry Vinigarette on my salad), really cool little town with neat pubs/bars & other eating establishments...

Tuesday:
Departed for Glacier via Hwy 272 N, cut across on Cty 40 to I-90W, turned North at Big Timbers on 191 (really nice rolling hills with no traffic except another Texas RV  (no jeff not another Wing, a real RV), rode this to Harlotown on Northward and continued  until it turned into 200 and other numbers, JUST EAST OF SUNDOWN, MT., WE RAN UPON (2) TWO UN-MARKED MILITARY INSTALLATIONS, THERE WERE A FEW HUMMERS WITH LARGE GUNS IN THE TURROT AND BLUE TRUCKS/SUBURBANS MARKED AS "SECURITY SERVICES" BUT MANNED WITH ARMY MP'S, TRAFFIC WAS STOPPED BOTH FROM THE E & W WHILE 2 CHOPPERS FLEW OVERHEAD, THEY WERE WAITING FOR A WHITE UN-MARKED 18 WHELLER TO CLEAR SECURITY, ONCE THIS OCCURED, THE VEHICLES BLOCKING THE ROAD MOVED IN SECQUENCE OFF THE ROAD WAY, WE SAW ANOTHER HUEY FLYING LARGER CIRCLES FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTES & IT HAD TO GO UNDERGROUND BECAUSE THE ROAD RAN AROUND THE SMALL HILL AND THERE WAS ONLY A SMALL FARMHOUSE & BARN, NO OTHER VEHICLES ...continued on 200 thru Great Falls, Mt., caught 89N outside of town and ate a late lunch in Chocteau, MT., at the Elk Country Grill (nice little hole in the wall bar & grill with great food and good service, rode on thru Browning, Mt., (they were getting ready to run the wild horses thru town, it was like the whole town was ready for a parade, I guess it was a parade of horses, they were herding them thru town about 5 miles to the rodeo arena),
We continued on thru back country rodes with long sweeping curves, small rolling hills, went thru a small "Mt. Pass" & saw 3 wild horses at the top of the Pass, caught a few rain drops in St. Mary at the East Gate into Glacier (cost is 12 per person if you don't have a NP pass),

Glacier NP..."Road to the Sun", we were actually riding to the sun from East to the West, it does not get dark until 10pm up here.  Syliva was the picture taker, I drove and called out "Squirrel" to the right or left when I saw and animal, waterfall or nice pic.  Awesome vistas, snow and very cool temps.  We encoutered numerous Mule Deer, Big Horn Sheep, Mt. Goats and other varmits & as Clif & Kari told me...waterfall after waterfall.  Reached the summit of Logan Pass (had some construction just on the East and West side of the Pass, it is really going to make it nice, rode some of the finished parts.  We took pics. of 2 Rams in the Logan Pass parking lot, all the viewers were chasing them around to take pics., walked out on the snow up to the summit of the Mt., still tons of snow up on the Mt.  It took us about 3 1/2 hrs. to run this with the 2 hold-ups for construction, and we stopped for pics too many times to count.
The main lake for this part of the park is a "glacial lake" meaning it  was cut by a glacier, it is 298ft. deep on avg.; gorgeous blues and greens in the water; stayed the night at La Quinta (count those Rewards pts.) in Kalispell, awoke to ride 93 South along "Flathead Lake", wow really large lake from the snow melt of the other Mts. & some parts of the lake, marinas and houses reminded me of pictures that I have seen of Spain & Italy; ran this road down to 212 that runs along one of many rivers with many curves and twists and goes by the US Nat. Bison Park, saw large numbers of Bison, this ran into 200 again and then connected with cutacross 135 (again along a river with twists, hills & gorgeous views), finished down at I-90, started hauling booty and came upon the Columbia River and the "Wild Horses Canyon", the sign before you walk to the "Look-out Point" reads "Watch for Rattlesnakes", continued hauling all the way to Mt. Rainer, only had time to run the road 410 to the North for some pics, finished our ride thru Tacoma and across Puget Sound to the South of Seattle, we are staying the night at Oxford Suites in silverdale, Wa. (Sylvia said she had never stayed in a hotel with wood floors & on the water front, not outrageous in price for the happy hour free drinks & full breakfast in the morning...

Thursday...
Riding out to the NW thru Port Angeles and trying to get to "Neah Bay" and the furthest West paved road in the contigent 48 states, I will give another update tomorrw night, we are putting in some miles; and, Sylvia is a trooper on the back of the Wing, of course she does get a nap in every now & then.
