Spring Thing V 2010
March 11 - March 14
Turkey Roost Group Camp Area
Cedar Ridge Park
Lake Belton, TX

We need to get a head count on how many people are planning on attending. The park charges a set price of $450 for the three days. The price per person will depend on how many show up. The dates are March 11-14, and those people that have had rv spaces before will get first dibs on their same spots this year.

Please select a choice above for how many are in your group attending Spring Thing V 2010.

There is a map attached below.

Some info and pictures Snake put together from previous threads:  http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=10166.msg103720#msg103720

c'mon folks , I know you got cabin fever . This is a neat venue. The riding in the area is good and all you all from the big cities need a break inthe country. Might even end up at the Horny Toad in Cransfill Gap for a cold one. You know you gotta go to a place with a name like that!!

I'll do my best to be there. If i can't make it i'll go ahead and send the money. Are there any hotels in Temple that are worth staying in? Thanks David

Wayne and I are having to wait until mid-late February to find out if we can come....his job is going to be changing at that point and it will determine our availability.  If we do come it would be a ride up on Saturday and tent camping Saturday night.

I'm probably going back on rotating 12 hour shifts. Unknown at this time is which of the 4 shifts I'm going on and WHEN. So much for planning for things in advance.

If you are planning on going to the Spring Thing and haven't done the poll at the top of this page, then get er done!

This event is paid for by those that attend.  The more that come, the cheaper it is.  The total cost for the campground is $450.00

If we have 45 people show up, that's only $10.00 each!!!! And that's for up to 3 nights camping. That's as cheap as it gets unless we have MORE people show up.

There are 10 RV spots available, plenty of places for tent campers.

Again, March 11-14 are the dates, so get signed up for a fun weekend.

Beaux. Read the post above yours.   Camper spots can be reserved with Randy. We have never filled all the camper spots.  The people that have been before get the spot they have had in the past. If you need a camper spot contact Randy.

Let me clarify the RV spots.   THERE IS NO EXTRA CHARGE TO RV'S.  The 10 sites come with the campground which we pay a flat rate of $450.00 which gives us the rv sites, tent campers everywhere, the pavillion, restrooms with CLEAN showers, fire ring over by pavillion.

As Randy stated above there are only 8 remaining.  If you want to bring a camper/trailer/motorhome/fifth wheel, then get with Randy and put dibs on your site.  We have never filled all the RV sites. I think maybe 1/2 of them were used one year.

If you have a camper to drag and want a place to park it, you pay just like everybody else.  450 divided by the number of people that show up, and we have the Turkey Roost reserved for 3 nights!

You can't beat a deal like this!

The Spring Thing is gonna happen so get busy and make plans to attend
