If you go down 288 south out of Houston you go thru Lake Jackson...you then join up with 332 which ends down at Surfside....you take a left onto Blue Water Highway and it runs along the coastline towards Galveston. Blue Water Highway becomes 3005 after the toll booth and then is called Sea Wall Blvd in Galveston itself.
