The other day was asked if you can jump start a motorcycle battery from a car battery.I answered good question they are both 12 volt but have no idea if you can or not.In the past before I needed a new battery just put it on the charger.Anyone have the right answer lol

We have jumped a bike from a car battery several times. Sometimes the car is off and then a couple weeks ago we did it with a running car. So it is doable.
