SNOW.... in HOUSTON  :o  It doesn't snow Houston. That's one of the reasons I live in Houston.  Were we nuked? :D

My wife was like a little kid. She was all happy just to see the flakes floating in the air.
The snow covered the cars with a thin layer but was gone by the time we got up today.

Ok, I live in south TX I am not supposed to have to put up with frozen water all around me.  These pictures were at 8 pm last night...after that we got another 1" or so...a total of 3" of snow...and it was still there this morning.  
 
Note: This is happening way to frequently.  Christmas Eve 2004 I had 9" of snow at my house.  That is two substantial snows in 4 years....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!

my wife has been asking for a winter snow vacation to go on, now that she has actually seen and felt just how cold snow is, i think she is over it now!
so its back to mexico beaches next year again  ;)

Our snow came down sideways at 50mph or so 14F chill factor ?? cold. We have another blast coming for this weekend. We didn't get enough snow to make drifts, this time. Normally 4 inches with the wind can pile up 6ft drifts. With more than 6" of snow and wind, they close the interstates until the plows bust it out, but that can't be done with the wind blowing.
The weather is great today, I got in a short ride on the bike, cleaned the pony stall, and got new tires on the wife's car.
