Welcome to the Texas X Riders board.

On May 18-20, 2007, the Texas X Riders will be having the 4th annual Bluebonnet Thunder Rally at the Armadillo Farm Campground in Luckenbach, TX.  There is a forum board for information concerning this years rally, but, I wanted to post something here on the general board just in case you haven't ventured further.

The Bluebonnet Thunder Rally is a state-wide meet and greet for all Texas X Riders. Of course we are a Model specific forum, but, we do not exclude anyone from participation because of what they ride. The rally is a great opportunity to view, and meet the owners, of many VTX motorcycles. If you're curious about a certain product, it'll probably be there on someone's bike. If you want to customize your bike in some way, you'll probably meet the person that can give you some insight. You don't come across opportunities like this very often.

The Texas Hill Country has some of the best scenic roads in the state. I'm still finding new places to visit, and new views, and I've lived here for over 30 years. You could travel here by yourself, spend a week riding, and still just scratch the surface of how much there is to see. Every year, we have guided rides by members that know the area. These are circut style rides, that take you through the small towns, and valleys of the Hill Country. You won't have time to see it all, but, you'll be armed with enough information of where to ride, you'll be able to pick and choose where you want to go, the next time you're here.

We hub out of the Armadillo Farm Campground. www.armadillofarmcampground.com This is the 4th year we've leased the property from Gay Jenkins. The registration fee includes 2 nights camping, a BBQ on Saturday night, Bike Show, Door prizes, and live music. If you pre-register, $30, you also get a T-shirt and pin. Late registration, at the gate, or for the day, is $25. This price does not include the T shirt and pin, but, we'll have limited quantities available to purchase.
