Looking to borrow front fork tool - honda tool 07VMA-MZ0010A

Is there anyone in the DFW area that might be willing to let me borrow their front fork tool. I am replacing the springs this weekend and following the directions from bareasschoppers.com.
If you also have the compression tool (even the homemade type) that would be great as well.
Thanks,
JD

I built my own fork tool from Bares site. I am 65 miles NE of you if you want to borrow it. Also I have done at least 4 sets of forks and never used a spring compressor.

Thank you for the offer. I will go ahead and try to make the tool as well. As far the the spring compressor, just not needed or do you have another "trick" instead?
Thanks for the insight!

I don't really think you need one. Just follow Bares directions
on his site. The spring isn't that hard to compress by hand.

Just like chad said, It isn't that hard to compress the spring at all, however if you can get an extra hand that only concentrates on downward pressure, that will allow you to focus on threading it back in.
