Got mine today and it's just a one inch diameter silver sticker with a black star and LSR 06 printed on it. The instructions say to place where clearly visible on your left mirror or left fork.

It doesn't say anything about parking at the seawall.  >:(

This is what the parking ticket (info) and sticker (goes on bike) looks like.  The areas high lighted on green are Rally Motorcycle Parking.  The streets are The Strand, Santa Fe Street and Mechanics Row.  When I try to find these streets using MS Streets & Trips, the streets in Galvez are only named with numbers running (North & South) and Avenues A-Z running (East & West).  I'll let you can figure out where all this is.  If anybody out there knows how to convert The Strand, Santa Fe Street and Mechanics Row to their Avenue equivalent, please post.

Jerry :)

The strand is Avenue B and Mechanic is Avenue C. Santa Fe is more of an alley than a street.

Bit of advice from last year. If you park on the strand, try to park in a group.  I was solo last year, found a great spot to park right up next to the curb.  Did the walk around thing , came back to the bike to leave to beat Houston traffic a bit and was BLOCKED IN.  Had to wait for owners to show up to get it out--so much for beating the traffic- 3 hour wait.  And yes, you have to have the sticker to park on the Strand.

From Larry Gore at the Lone Star Rally:

"The 2006 Lone Star Rally is almost here, and it is shaping up to
be the largest rally yet.

Remember the Lone Star Rally is a free rally.  This year we are offering a convenience
parking pass for $10 that is good for the entire weekend in any Rally lot and on the Strand.
The parking pass is required for all bikes entering the Strand.

You are welcome to park in the areas surrounding the rally site and still enjoy the free Rally".
