The largest tire you can to is a 200. Might have to grind down a inner bracket on the under side of the fender but not that much. I have run Metzlers on my bike and have had goo luck with them. Have heard alot of comments on the Avons and thought next time will try them out! I am sure you will get alot of feedback from others!!
  Good luck!!

I run both on front and rear the Metzler ME880.  It's a great touring tire.  Holds up great and feels solid on wet ground.  I usually get about 8000-9000 miles on the rear and about 12,000 miles on the front

I ran Elite III on the last bike.  Got almost 16K on the rear.  The front had almost 25k.  Very hard compound but I never had a problem.  I will try them again when the tires I have now wear out.  Just my experience.
