Title: new bike observations
Post by: cruiserlover on November 10, 2017, 04:48:21 PM
The new goldwing is a st1300,f6b,and goldwing rolled into one.Except for the flat 6 in them instead of a 4 in the st 13.But it looks like the old sport tourer.90 lbs less is nice. The so called midsize bikes in the 800-1000 cc size was all the rage, still is.Surprisingly the 300 cc bikes are jap number 1 sellers. But now the indian and ducati have crept into the 1200 cc range.I know Yamaha is coming back out with a 862 pound aircooled v twin venture. And Hondas tour cruiser isnt changed from the 1300.Tuesday I GET MY FIRST 1300,O6 1300 r. The only thing I cant figure out is why bmw and others are making 160 hp streetbikes. My 99 venture has 98 at the crank,79 rear wheel.I can cruise 80 all day long. What would i do with 80 more horsepower.Or 200 hp turbo streetbikes. That some idiot will crash on a highway. Now is a good time to buy an $80,000 chopper for 15,000. I am 68, time to lighten up and downsize.

The guy is delaying now till next tuesday, about the 14th? He decided to not ride his 232 miles from arkansas.Arkansas weather is much different. It is getting down to freezing. He is going to trailer his and then mine back of course. But i am off that day.Once his trailer lights are out of sight i am hitting the road.
