Title: TIRE SERVICE
Post by: DEMON on February 10, 2016, 06:37:22 PM
I'm posting this to test the waters and see what kind of responses I get.

I'm thinking about buying a Tire changing machine, I'm wondering if the crew in the Houston/Katy/Spring  area if they would consider using me to replace the tires/mount and balance for your motorcycle.

you buy your tires and bring them to me (if you buy on line you can have them ship direct to me  and we can install them at my garage).   The cheapest price I have heard of is $20.00 per tire from motorcycles unlimited.  That's  you bringing the wheels/tires and they mount and balance them.

I would do $30 for both tires mounted and balance, if I have to take the wheels off a VTX $50.00 would get you done.

any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

just to make it clear I'm not selling tires, I'm selling the installation and balance of the tires.

im not sure if the balancer I have will balance a car tire on a motorcycle wheel.... If you are asking about balancing tires on your car, I won't have the means to balance the tire once is mounted

I have two wheels that I'm powdering and need to remove one tire of the rear to place on the newly powdered wheel and a new tire for the front wheel.  I'll be powdering them shortly in the next couple weeks.

Do you have an oven big enough to powder moto wheels?  I've powdered some of my own stuff but my oven isn't big enough.

nah....Just 19".  If I ever considered going larger my max would probably  be 23".  But 30 is kind of crazy.

Did you get the equipment? Ordered new front tire and will need it mounted, I would rather pay you to mount it.
Give a shout.
