I am taking vacation in July and half will be Vegas but the other half I want to ride. I don't want to stay in the same place twice (no camping) and was wondering what might be insteresting enough to ride to. I would like to do around 400-600 miles per day. It's going to be hot so the better the climate the more I will like it.

If your going to try and beat the heat in July, better head to the high country, northern New Mexico is nice, I want to make the golden aspen run in New Mexico some day.
Colorado, lots of options to get high here, you will choose the mountains for sure. :bikerider:
Enjoy your vacation!!

No riding in Vegas, will be too busy losing my Cranberries. Riding when I get back but now maybe just an overnighter.

That could be fun. Go West then north....hmmmm.
-
I read they have cabins that overlook the canyon. I'm sure you would need to book those with time but you never know.

Been to Palo Duro years ago. Really neat place. They used to have a play in the canyon at night about the old west. Very cool. I have been wanting to take the bike up there. There was a neat biker type bar outside of Snyder with campgrounds called Rolling Thunder or something like that. The White Buffalo Bikefest is in Snyder on Aug21 22 23.

Ride up through Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, maybe into Montana. You'll see some awesome scenery and great motorcycle roads. View the Tetons from Togwotee Pass; you won't ever forget it. Hell, viewing the Tetons from anywhere is unforgettable!
