I hope the weather cooperates!  I was hearing that our normal high in the DFW this time of year is 62....definitely not there with snow this morning!

I'm hoping all this crap will just run it's course now and be done with it. If not, I've got a pair of insulated & waterproof coveralls. There's no way I'm missing this trip. Just me & my best friend for 4 days. The only draw back is that I have to ride with a 2010 CVO/ Screamin' Eagle Electra Glide Ultra!!

All the years that Wayne and I have gone to BBT, the weather has been pretty good...granted last year spoiled us...it was flawless.

That is correct. My best friend & I take a few days during "Spring Break" each year, since I am off of work, and go down to ride the "Sisters". No big groups, wives, or kids; just us.

Other than the "big group" this is pretty much all of my rides.  Do you work in a school or college?  I don't get spring break off...wish I still had my high school schedule.

Island Time!! Case in point. Two guys are sitting in the Sandbar bar in San Pedro, Belize. One asks, "What time is it?" The other guys thinks for a bit and says, "April?"

Sweet....,my wife is a teacher and I am jealous of her off time.  Of course, I wouldn't want to deal with the children that she has to.  Guess it's a trade-off.

Sorry it has taken me so long for the update on this trip but it has been murder here at work all week long.
We left out on Monday & rode down to Leakey; went to Llano & had lunch at Cooper's and then took 16 all the way to Kerrville. We took 27 east out of Kerrville & then veered off to 39 and followed the Guadalupe River over to 83 then went south into Leakey. Purdiest ride ever. Got rained out on Tuesday so we had to wait for the rain to clear up on Wednesday morning in order to ride the sisters. I think the best part of the trip was the cabin we stayed in. The River Haven Cabin are just a few miles south of Leakey, on 1120, and sit right on the Frio River. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful & relaxing place.

If you want tv, that's all they have. Also, AT&T is about the only cell phone service that has a signal down there. I have Verizon for my personal phone & Sprint for work & neither one had a signal, DANG IT!!!!!!! :t :t :t :t
