My best friend & myself are planning on doing a nice ride on this date, weather permitting. We will ride from Copperas Cove to Cedar Park to possibly meet a couple guys from Austin, head west on FM1431 to Marble Falls, south to Johnson City, west to Fredericksburg, north past Enchanted Rock to Llano, eat at Cooper's and then on to Burnet and then home. We are planning on being in Cedar Park around 10:00 AMish. Meeting place has not been set up yet as I am waiting for a reply from the gentleman in Austin. All are welcome to join us. The more the merrier.

if you guys meet up in Cedar park, there is a Wal-mart right at the corner of 1431 and old 183. whenever i led rides thats where we would meet up. have fun and be careful.

OK all, this will be the meeting place in Cedar Park. If you are elsewhere on the route, and would like to meet up as we come through, just let me know & I'll see what we can do. I want to make this easy for everyone.

OK, this ride is a go. I have 3-4 guys coming with me and one confirmed from Austin with another one as a maybe. We will be at the Walmart at the corner of old 183 & FM 1431 at 10:00ish on Saturday morning.

As you know Bob, this ride has gotten a bit bigger, with some folks from the AMRG Meetup group riding with us. Looking forward to it; turns out there still are folks in Austin that ride motorcycles! :pot:

:cool2: :cool2:I think that's great. I've tried a few times to get some kind of response out of this area. I don't care about what kind of bike either as long as they are not wanting to fly everywhere they go. I like to take my time & enjoy the ride.

So far, the folks coming from the AMRG group are on two Wings and a Victory Vision; in other words, luxury liners...

Had a great ride today. Left Copperas Cove about 9:00am and met up with with the riders from the Austin area in Cedar Park. Even though we had a couple mechanical issues with a couple bikes, we made it to Cooper's in Llano around 2:00pm and then made it home around 4:45pm. Thanks, Jeff Daniel, for all of your help today & with helping to set this up!! It was a blast!!!!!!

Interesting ride, glad you all made it home safe and sound. The Austin representation of the CenTex VTXrs is down to one, as Bobby was a no show!
