Title: Marble fall Ride (Breakfast) 9-1-07
Post by: CouldBFaster on August 24, 2007, 06:40:37 PM
this will be Noobs first ride with the X riders. He will be on my old bike. So he might be able to keep up.  O0
We may have to take it easy on him.... More than likely not. LOL Noobs name is Mike. He is a good friend of mine that is new to riding motorcycles. I am very proud of him for buying the best brand and make of  bike as his first one. I know he will fit in will all of us. He is looking foward to meeting all of you Jerks out there. So I am hoping for a big turn out. I would like to have breakfast at blue bonnet cafe.
I was thinking the walmart at 1431 and 183. KSU 8am.
Hope to see you guys then.

You guys don't make the ride times very easy for someone like me who's job requires them to hang out at bars until the wee hours of the morning.
I do want to go but my attendance depends on when I get home from the Captain Morgan promo tonight. If Trent and Jeremy (I only have your old work cell #) will send me there phone #'s I will give y'all a call tomorrow morning if I am coming.

Title: THANKS!
Post by: ViciousNoob on September 02, 2007, 01:32:01 AM
I was told there were some good folks on this board.  I know that is true now.

I gotta say thanks to Crewsn and Jen, ZoSoVTX, and CouldBFaster for breaking a Noob (the Vicious one) in right.

I had all of about 25 miles under my belt when Trent scheduled this ride. IT WAS F'ING GREAT!

Crewsn led, and didn't do anything that I couldn't handle. He pushed me just enough to take chances that I would have never taken.

Trent followed right behind me to make sure I didn't lay it down.

David (ZoSoVTX) gave me tips about rain riding (cause it did rain, dammit).

Just wanted to thank Trent for setting this up and everyone for treating me good and teaching me right on the trip. I really appreciate it! O0 O0

No Problem. Mike, I had a blast. Let me know if you want to burn some gas and rubber, I am normally down for that.
Or just throw it up on the board and let everyone know.

I think if Trent's throttle stuck wide open he wouldn't notice until he ran out of gas.  :o
