WOW!!! THIS THING HAULS!!!
After getting rid of the Roadstar and trying to get the wife to agree on getting a new X I finally manned up and told her that she was moving in. Now I am getting weird noises from the garage. I think that the dog is jealous.
I got two problems with the new X. 1. It wont warm up outside long enough to ride her and 2. Now that its warm outside I came down with some sort of sickness and the doc says to stay in bed a few days.
I love my new X and am looking forward to meeting up with you guy's and gal's again soon.

Welcome aboard!!!
Now, as your first duty, you have to recommend one or more restaurants in your area to replace Bill's on 494 as a Meet n Greet in the Northeast Houston area. (We got kicked out of Bill's.) Has to have parking and be biker friendly, accommodate 30 bikers, cheap but great food, ice cold beer, hot barmaids/bartenders and everything else near and dear to a biker's heart. Wednesday nights. Starts at 7:00ish.
Post your recommendation on the Houston Meet & Great section for all of out group to consider, then deride, then ridicule, then argue about, then eat at. You have to buy the first beer!! O0 O0
Cool - huh!!! 8)

I understand, the week after I got my VTX we went on vacation to Key West and my wife wouldn't let me take the bike along. We get back from that trip and I had about 2 and a half weeks of riding and we went to Colorado to a soccer tournament my daughter was in and once again my wife said no to trailering the bike with us. We get back from Colorado and another 2 weeks or so to ride and off to Virginia and again no bike....
We both have alot of riding to get caught up on.
Hope you get to feeling better,
MPM

Thanks and I hope that you get to ride soon also.
I did however just sneak out for about a 30 minute ride. The last half was the fastest because I was feeling sort of sick. But it was still fun.
We are suppose to ride some Patriot ride tomorrow. I dont have all the details as of yet. But were going is all I know.

Welcome! Where do you live? If you can't ride her I will help you out with that. O0
What good is an X rider family if I can't at least do that for you.
Welcome
-
CouldBFaster you will be more than welcome to ride her BUT I must warn you she's got some torque. Man my back hurts.
I was showing off yesterday at lunch with my boss. I tried to pop a wheelie in a parking lot while still in a left turn. She did not like it when I poured the gas to her. This baby has got some serious torque. I almost lost her to the fast approaching ground.
Oh yeah I live in Humble.
