In case anyone is interested, I am sharing my route for the ride up. I am not planning a group ride or anything, just sharing a route. This hits several of the roads from the "bestbikingroads.com" website. The route starts in Hempstead and terminates at the Flying L Ranch in Bandera. It includes a stop at the Devil's Backbone Tavern and a ride along the Blanco River.

nice route. According to legend The Tavern is haunted, you know. last time I was there by some strange folks. LOL

It wasn't an invite. Like I said, not planning a group thing. Me and my neighbor are going Wednesday on that route, no time planned and we may or may not stop in Hempstead. I just wanted to share since there are a lot of good roads on it.
