I'm about to finish a week of on-call and I'm taking Friday 7/20 off and going to ride The Sisters.
I'm in Austin and I'll leave at 7am from the Y in Oakhill. It'll be 2.5 hours to Medina, breakfast at Keeses then ride The Sisters. Lunch maybe in Camp Wood or Garven Store, depending on the route. Might only ride 2 of the 3 Sisters (335 and 337) and then catch 41 to 1340 to 39 to 27 back into Kerrville.
If anyone's interested, just let me know.
I'll also ride The Sisters on Saturday 7/21, if that works out better for anyone.

Working on friday but can meet up with you on Saturday let me know when and where . I'm in Uvalde just south of Leakey .

I have several people now going Friday but if you want to ride Saturday, I'll be there. As you come in on 83 from Uvalde, on the right as you first come into Leakey, there's a large Texaco convenience store with a Subway® attached? I can meet you there between 10:45 and 11am.

see you there

You guys have a fun and safe ride.

Simon, what color VTX are you on?
If you need me, I'm at Five One Two - Four 2 Two - Six 9 Zero Six. Feel free to call even when I'm enroute. Let me know if your plans change and you can't make it on Saturday?

Ok. My friends cancelled riding on Friday so I'm only riding The Sisters on Saturday. If anyone wants to go with VTXSimon and me, I'd be glad to meet you.
I just wanted to get this post out with info that I'm only riding the route on Saturday.
Also, if anyone wants to ride The Sisters in the future, be sure and let me know, I'm always ready.

I barely survived a heatstroke. The temp was brutal! Other than that, had a great ride. There weren't a lot of bikes out, I guess because of how hot it was.
VTXSimon couldn't make it. He discovered a fork seal leak on his way to meet me in Leakey.
I left Austin at 7am and made it back home at 5pm. I think I did somewhere in the neighborhood of 360 miles roundtrip.
The next time anyone is going to The Sisters, please let me know.
