Sounds like you ought to find the kind of BBQ you like best there, for sure!

The best way to get there is HWY 35E south to Hillsboro, then HWY 22 out to Meridian. This is a very scenic ride,I get through there about twice a week going down to Lampasas and this is such a great little town. But hold on.......The Bob Phillips Festival is in big Waxahachie TX this weekend too, with the Bellamy Bros. live on stage in an outdoors concert.
I just found out tonight. Look for the Blue Retro VTX and you'll find me and the wife.

We got a late start, doctor appointment ran longer than thought, we got there a little late, did manage to do some "tasting".... They started closing things up kinda early!  Still a good ride, but never did see a blue VTX.  I really don't think they should call it a "National BBQ Cookoff."

Sorry guys, the wife had a class I did not know about till the last minute. Stuck around Waxahachie for the Bob Phillips festival instead. Maybe next time guys. I will be at the Three Sisters Rally in Leakey for sure. I have already registered and I can't wait for that long ride down there. I am sure hoping to meet some of you guys down there.
