Just wondering if anyone would like to go to Sturgies next year.  I'll like to go for the sake of the ride.  Is 1300+ miles one way from Houston.  Any feedback from anyone that has done the ride would be appreciated.

I'm trying to make it next year as well.

I did a little research and called around for Hotel rooms. It might be better camping out if you can carry the gear on your bike, as all the Hotels in a 100 mile radius are already booked for next year

I'll keep checking though and post back. If you find out anything let me know and I'll definitely make it. Got a couple of other friends who would like to make it also. We're mainly from the Beaumont, Texas area (SE Texas).

 I hope to go or try and make the trip just depends on where I might be As things stand now will be getting home from Kurdistan about that time so will be more than ready for a good bike trip.Will keep you updated and see ya in Galveston.

I'll more than likely be there.  I plan on hitting all the major rallies.
