GOOD NEWS!

Received a voice mail when I got home last night that my bike is ready.  Hopefully I can pick it up this afternoon.

have had mine at Honda Town in Ft.Worth for a month waiting on parts.
I don't get it if Honda wants to sell more motorcycles they had better start keeping parts around.

That's something that bugs the heck out of me about motorcycles.  We'd NEVER put up with the service delays with cars that we put up with on motorcycles.  Every time I've had service done to my bike, they look at me like I'm an alien when I demand they schedule me in and that I'll wait.  I patiently explain that my bike is my TRANSPORTATION and I can't conveniently "leave it with them over night so I can get an oil change" or the like.  Of course I'm more and more learning the minor to major maintenance stuff so I don't have to deal with them at all.  Much easier.

You have got to be kidding me. A month? for parts? Geez, that's one I don't think I could deal with. What parts are you waiting for?

I guess it's the part that's on the bottom of the container on that slow boat from China.

Thought it was time to get our historical thread back on top....he he  !  ! ! !

Sorry, no riding for me this weekend.  Got back from Houston around midnight last night and have to work for a few hours Sunday afternoon from 3-7pm.  Might get out on the scoot after that.   I'll check the hot spots and see if anyone is still hanging out having a cold one.

Next weekend, I have no plans.  Plan on being on the bike most of it since I'm flying out the following weekend.  Don't forget about the Ft. Worth Stockyards M&G on the M&G post.   Hope everyone has a safe weekend!

For the local guys and gals:  I might be headed up to Winstar on the bike in the next couple of weeks to do a little gambling with one of my best friends.  He doesn't ride and will be driving up in his car but I'm not gonna miss a good opportunity to do a little riding up through the back roads.  We'll be playing a little Texas Hold'em action and winning a little money.  Holler if anyone is intersested in going.
