Okay, too many threads......"SATURDAY MORNING" AND "DUKE'S".

Spoke to TBird and he is in so we will be there by 9am.  Also got a PM from SouthernXer, he and his better half are planning on being there.

Sounds like a great turnout......good job everyone!

Called the shop this afternoon and my bike's not going to be ready 'till about 11:00.  >:(

That's not good since I'm about an hour and a half away. I'll check with them early in the morning, but I don't think I'll be able to make it on time.

hooter you make me laugh. but your probably right i would come up with some lame excuse like "MY LEG IS BROKE"...lmao... or heres a good one "i'm to lazy to register my bike because i can't ride it anyway"

but my favorite would be "i need explicit intructions how to get there because i get lost leaving my driveway"

i really do miss riding with you guys and this warm weather is killing me
hope ya'll have fun ride safe and stay outta trouble.

just got in about 45 min ago (6:30'ist) and had a good ride up to that end of Texas. Was suppose to meet Dan and Cris, but, somehow our directions got crossed or mixed or jumbled or---- anyway we both admitted calling each other SOB several times before 9am and when we met face to face it was kool, nice bike but most of all good couple to have as friends! O0
The turn out at the benifit was out standing! I really think from projected figures of bike show ups was around 100 to 200, well, don't know how many actually showed but 350 to 4 wouldn't surprize me at all. The ride they took us on kinda sucked a little because there was so many of us the Police was having trouble controling the entrance traffic to let us pass. Don't get me wrong, they, the Police, did the best they could do with the number of bikes they had to deal with. My hats off to'em, a fantastic job. O0
The pace setters were at fault, I feel, because were going to fast and then they had to slow down to let the Police catch up which in turn was causing a snake effect, fast, slam on the brake, haul Cranberries, slam on the brake, you get the picture. Short ride of maybe 40 minuets, route I can't tell ya cause I don't know that end of the world anymore. All freeway is the best I can say. All and all it was a good, no, great turn out and a good showing of X riders we had. I'm sure in the following posts and pics to follow you'll know who showed. I'm sorry you couldn't make it and we all understand. Stay tuned and I'll have some pic's posted later
