Hello members it's that time to start marking your calendar's and making plans to attend our 12th annual Bluebonnet Thunder Rally.  As last year it will be held in Bandera, TX @ the Pioneer RV Resort.

The City of Bandera welcomed us with open arms and expressed to quite a few members that they hope we come back. 

We will be posting up registration forms soon as well as a schedule of events.

So, I don't have an RV and don't do tents.  Is everyone going pulling a camper?  What is the setup here?

I've already called Judy over at the RV park and knows we are coming and need the Rec room, but I'm going to call her this week and try to reserve some spots all close together. 

Rocket67, as far as RV'ing or tent camping goes they do have one Kaboose there that has been converted into a room with all amenities, you might want to look into that.  Additionally, there are hotels nearby and a lodge directly across the street from the RV park.  Everything in town is within a 1-2 mile radius.

Libby and I will be there...you do know that April is my "birthday month"...so plenty of reasons to have a few cold ones.  (Like I need a reason!)

The River Front is a nice place, clean and well cared for and is basically next (across the street) to camp ground and the back side of main street is right there also. All walk to the, or most of, the bars.

 Anyone wanting to book the River front, due so asap as it fills fast during riding season. Doesn't look like much from the outside but are real nice and clean inside with Bandera appropriate decor. It is the place to stay if your not a camper. The après ride BS that goes on in the camp ground is one of the reasons I camp. The other is I'm a cheapskate.
